Jeffrey M. Simon, Ph.D.
Dr. Simon is a New York state licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in marital and family psychotherapy and behavioral medicine.   He has advanced training in biofeedback, a subspecialty in stress-related and anxiety disorders, and frequently works with adolescents. He is a trustee and board member of the National Association of Psychiatric Health Systems, a member of NAPHS's Strategic Planning Committee, and formerly on the Steering Committee of the Council of Behavioral Group Practices and the Executive Committee of the Association of Behavioral Group Practices. He serves as well on the Editorial Advisory Board for Practice Strategies and Managed Behavioral Health News.  Dr. Simon is the Chief Executive Officer of Carmel Psychological.

Dennis Orlowski, L.C.S.W.
Mr. Orlowski is a New York State licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Chief Operating Officer of Carmel Psychological.  He specializes in solution oriented, short-term psychotherapy with adults and couples.

Richard Altesman, M.D.
Dr. Altesman is a New York state licensed psychiatrist, certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is the former director of Stony Lodge Hospital and the author of numerous journal articles dealing with a wide variety of psychiatric topics.

Maurice Haberman, M.D.
Dr. Haberman is a Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist who has been practicing Psychiatry in a broad array of settings over the past 30 years. He has worked in Community Mental health centers in the public and private sector as well as private practice. Current interests are the Anxiety and Mood disorders. Thorough diagnostic evaluations and Psychopharmacology services are offered.

Thomas Kay, Ph.D.
Dr. Kay is a well-known and respected Neuropsychologist. He is the Director of Neuropsychological Services for Carmel Psychological. Dr. Kay oversees neuropsychological evaluation and treatment services for children and adults, in both the Carmel and Yorktown offices. He spent the past 23 years in the field of clinical neuropsychology, almost all of that associated with the Rusk Institute / New York University Medical Center, where he conducted research and had a private practice. The past decade has been spent in full time private practice in Manhattan and White Plains. Dr. Kay’s specialty is mild traumatic brain injury and post-concussion syndrome.

Frances Roach, M.S.N.
Ms. Roach is a New York state licensed psychiatric nurse and clinical specialist with eclectic training and background. She provides individual, marital, and family treatment to a widely ranging population and functions as clinical supervisor for the organization.

Arlene Keith, M.S.N., N.P.
Ms. Keith is a New York state licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner and clinical specialist who is trained in the administration of psychotropic medications.

Jonathan Butters, Psy.D.
Dr. Butters is a New York state licensed clinical psychologist who treats individuals, couples and families utilizing a cognitive-behavioral and family systems approach. Areas of specialty include: depression, separation/divorce issues, body image problems and serious mental illness.

Carol Huckabee, Ph.D.
Dr. Huckabee is a New York state licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the treatment of children and chemical dependency and forensic evaluations including custodial matters.

Mary Mitchell, L.C.S.W.
Ms. Mitchell is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  She specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents, adults and families with a particular interest in parenting issues across the life cycle.  She completed postgraduate work at the Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Program of the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy.  She was formerly Director of Clinical Services at Andrus Children's Center. She practices in both the Yorktown and Carmel offices.

Geneva Vivino, MSN, NP
Ms. Vivino is a NYS licensed Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry with specialty training in mood disorders, anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD and personality disorders. She is certified to prescribe medications in New York State and utilizes an eclectic approach to assist the adults in need of mental health services.

Maryellen D'Ambrosio, MS, RNC, PMHNP, BC
Mrs. D'Ambrosio is a NY State licensed Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry and is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.  Mrs. D'Ambrosio specializes in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and has over 12 years of experience with this specialty population.  Mrs. D'Ambrosio is certified to prescribe medications in New York State and utilizes a holistic approach in assisting children, adolescents, and their families in need of mental health care.  Mrs. D'Ambrosio practices in both the Yorktown and Carmel offices.

Rickie F. Daniels, L.C.S.W.
Ms. Daniels is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents and families. Credentials include a Master’s degree in social work from Columbia University; as well as being a member of the National Association of Social Workers. Ms. Daniels was an adjunct professor at Fordham University for several years; and has participated in many conferences and presentations. Ms. Daniels has also supervised many other clinicians through her 24 years of experience in many different capacities.

Denis McCarthy, L.C.S.W.
Mr. McCarthy is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker with both a psychodynamic and family-systems orientation. He has considerable experience with issues involving dysfunctional families.

Despina K. Santiago, L.C.S.W.
Ms. Santiago is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents and families. Credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Penn State University, a Master’s degree in social work from Columbia University and a Post Master’s Certificate from Fordham University in the area of Management. Ms. Santiago is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers. She currently practices at both our Carmel and Yorktown sites.

Pam Corbo, L.C.S.W.
Pamela Corbo is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker who treats children, adolescents and adults utilizing a cognitive-behavioral and family systems approach.  Areas of specialty include mood, obsessive-compulsive and attention deficit disorders.  Ms Corbo services both the Carmel and Yorktown office locations.

Elaine Boccumini, L.C.S.W.
Ms. Boccumini is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. She practices at the group's Yorktown Heights offices.

Jon Meyer, L.C.S.W.
Mr. Meyer is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders and the use of biofeedback.

Amy Anderson, L.C.S.W.
Ms. Anderson is a New York State licensed Social Worker, specializing in the treatment of adults.

Nancy Tramontana,L.C.S.W.
Ms. Tramontana is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in the treatment of addictions. She also works with adolescents and adults with mood and anxiety disorders.

Nancy Badding, L.C.S.W., D.S.W.
Dr. Badding is a New York State licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her D.S.W. from Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers Academy of Certified Social Workers. Dr. Badding treats adults and children, ages ten and above. She specializes in working with clients who are depressed or troubled by fears and phobias.

Michelle Culleton, L.C.S.W.
Ms. Culleton is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in the treatment of children and adults. She practices in both the group's Carmel and Yorktown Heights offices.

Kevin Barry, Ph.D.
Dr. Barry is a New York State licensed Psychologist who specializes in therapy for adolescents and young adults in a family context. He is a graduate of the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health and offers short-term psychodynamic treatment to individuals (age range: pre-teen through adulthood). He is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and works with couples and families from a systemic frame of reference.

Bruce Friedman, L.C.S.W.
Mr. Friedman is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in hypnotherapy and family therapy. He is the former director of Outpatient Services at Phelps Hospital.

Joy Spiegel, L.C.S.W.
Ms. Spiegel is a New York State Licensed Social Worker. She specializes in the use of cognitive-behavioral-therapy in the treatment of anxiety and depression. Ms. Spiegel has a great deal of experience in treating women and adolescent girls with such conditions and is well versed in treating a broad based patient population.

Ronald Field, Ph.D.
Dr. Field is a New York State Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in neuropsychological evaluations. Dr. Field works with children, adolescents, and adults. He provides individual and family psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, social skills training, and cognitive skills training. Dr. Field is a member of The International Neuropsychological Society and The American Psychological Association, The National Academy of Neuropsychology and is a clinical member of The Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers.

Marjorie Redleaf, L.C.S.W.
Ms. Redleaf is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents and adults. She worked in the Rockland County Department of Mental Health as a clinician, supervisor and team leader for over 20 years before joining the staff at Carmel Psych.

Mary Killean Zayani, L.C.S.W.
Ms. Zayani is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York State and California. She specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents, adults and families. Ms. Zayani has a great deal of experience working with issues involving: parenting, child abuse (physical and sexual), family conflict, depression and trauma. Ms. Zayani received her MSW from Columbia University and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.

Suzanne Braniecki, Ph.D.
Dr. Braniecki is a New York State Licensed Psychologist who specializes in child and adolescent psychotherapy, utilizing a cognitive-behavioral and family systems approach. Specific areas of specialty include: attention deficit disorders, mood, anxiety, anger issues, academic issues, behavior management strategies, and parenting skills training. Dr. Braniecki also conducts neuropsychological evaluations with children and adolescents.

Lynda Guzman, L.C.S.W.
Ms. Guzman is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has an interest in working with families, children and adolescents utilizing play, cognitive behavioral and family systems theory to guide the therapeutic process.  She received her master's degree from Columbia University and is a member of NASW.

Edward Bacigalupo, L.M.S.W.
Ed Bacigalupo is a licensed NYS Social Worker who received his Masters Degree from SUNY Albany. He specializes in treating adolescents and adults by using a combination of Humanistic, Psychodynamic and Cognitive-Behavioral approaches. He specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, stress management and adjustment issues.

Virginia Tortoso, L.C.S.W.
Ms Tortoso is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New York who treats individuals, couples and families. Drawing on a cognitive behavior approach, she treats an wide array of mental disorders. She is a Fordham University graduate with over 20 years of experience in the Mental Health Field.

Denise Falcon-Johnson, L.M.S.W.
Ms. Falcon-Johnson is a New York State Licensed Social Worker who treats adults, children, adolescents and families. She received her graduate degree from New York University and is a member of The National Association of Social Workers. Denise has experience treating difficulties involving depression, anxiety, anger, sexual identity and self-esteem. She practices in the Carmel and Yorktown offices.

Karen J. Profita, L.C.S.W.
Ms. Profita is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a New York State Certified School Social Worker who has over twenty years experience in the treatment of adults, adolescents, children and families. Credentials include a Master’s degree in social work from Columbia University and a Post Master’s Certificate in Child and Adolescent Therapy from Fordham University.

Joanne Rubin, Ph.D.
Joanne Rubin, Ph.D. Dr. Rubin is NY licensed psychologist who works with individual adults, couples, families, and children. With 25 years of experience, Dr. Rubin is trained in a variety of therapies, including psychodynamic, family systems, Gestalt, cognitive behavioral, and transpersonal. In addition to working with anxiety and depression, she works with adult development issues, such as marital growth, midlife issues, existential and spiritual issues, sex and gender identity issues, and professional development.

Roxann Intriligator, M.S., R.N.
Ms. Intriligator is a New York State licensed registered nurse, psychiatric clinical nurse specialist and certified biofeedback therapist. She specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders and health related disorders using a variety of techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy, stress management, relaxation training, mindfulness and biofeedback.
